I switched from conventional hair products to natural hair products a few years ago. Since then I have tried various shampoos, conditioners and styling products. At first I was excited about Nature's Gate having a line of "organics" products. Bought the Lemongrass and Sage kind. Loved the smell and it did fine as a daily shampoo. But one day I was just curious and actually read the ingredients on their website. Was very surprised to find out that Methylparaben and Propylparaben were a part of the ingredients. From what I understand paraben is what you need to avoid. Diazolidinyl Urea is worse. But on the shampoo bottle neither parabens or Diazolidinyl Urea is listed. In fact, it says "paraben-free". It's confusing. Which one to trust, their bottle or their website?
