Your take
By reviewer amyh 2007-02-02 18:05:36We signed up for Palo Alto Green last year. The city of Palo Alto Utilities sent us a certificate letting us know that, based on our estimated electric usage, we will prevent over 6,500 pounds of CO2 from entering the earth's atmosphere. This is the equivalent to: over 7,500 miles not driven or almost 400 trees being planted. And this small step we took costs us only about $6 additional charge per month. It was easy to enroll and we can change our mind at any time should we wish to un-enroll in the Palo Alto Green program. Most likely, we will continue in this program as it is a relatively simple way to make a positive contribution to a cleaner environment. Report this review |
